What is Electrolysis?

Electrolysis is medically recognized as being a permanent hair removal method for face and body of all types of hair including hair not removed by Laser such as blond, red, gray, white and hair that Laser is not able to destroy.
 
The painless electrolysis process consists of inserting a probe into a hair follicle.  Once the needle is in place, a current is released, rendering the source of nourishment inactive and preventing the production of another hair.

• Electrologists have been successfully removing unwanted facial and body hair for over 100 years.
• The removal of unwanted hair by galvanic current began in 1875 — very effective, however very slow.
• In the 1940's, we discovered high frequency. A faster current allowing hairs to be treated more quickly.
• In the following years, we discovered the Blend method, a blending of the 2 currents; galvanic and high frequency. This worked extremely well on deep coarse hairs with less chance of regrowth — this method is slower than high frequency, however more efficient.
• Thermolysis (high frequency) and Blend are both useful for different purposes.

The technology and equipment has improved tremendously, making electrolysis more comfortable for the client. 
 
Disposable probes and an autoclave sterilizer are used to reassure that we perform electrolysis safely and accurately.
